Chauffeur Excellence
The Chauffeur Excellence Programme
Every journey is only as good as the chauffeur behind the wheel. This is how we select, prepare and support ours.
Our standard
More than driving
A Williams & Williams chauffeur combines calm, skilled driving with discretion, impeccable presentation and genuine care for every passenger.
Our programme brings new chauffeurs up to that standard and keeps experienced chauffeurs at their best — from the first meeting at arrivals to the last door closed.
What our chauffeurs master
Six pillars of the programme
Protocol & etiquette
Greeting, door service, luggage handling and the quiet courtesies of British chauffeuring.
Defensive & advanced driving
Smooth, safe, anticipatory driving that keeps every passenger comfortable.
Security & discretion
Awareness, confidentiality and calm judgement for high-profile and private clients.
Knowledge of London & the UK
Routes, venues, airports and timings — so you always arrive on time.
VIP & diplomatic protocol
Working with delegations, events and private offices with complete professionalism.
Presentation & service
Immaculate appearance, a spotless car and service that anticipates your needs.
Licensed and vetted
Every chauffeur holds a Transport for London private hire driver licence, which requires an enhanced DBS background check, a medical assessment and TfL's knowledge and safety assessments. We add our own interview and vetting before anyone drives for us.
